. Milk spit-ups are classified as protein based stains which means, we need to break the fatty acids with the use of surfactants that are usually found in stain remover pre-treat solutions. Let it sit for two to three minutes to let the fatty acids release the protein part of the stain. Afterwards, you may now apply an oxygen-based stain remover to get rid of the protein stain.
